YARD REAAS supported BMG BARBERINO Srl as ESG advisor in the process for obtaining the BREEAM In-Use Part 2 certification, with "Good" level, for the common areas of the Barberino Outlet, located in Barberino del Mugello, in the province of Florence.

This recognition is part of a broader process of sustainable enhancement of the complex, which in previous years had already achieved the BREEAM In-Use Part 1 certification with a "Very Good" score for the entire structure.

Built on the banks of the Sieve river, Barberino Outlet covers an area of about 27,000 square metres divided into 14 building blocks, connected by a network of pedestrian paths.

The Outlet contains 21,000 square metres of nature, representing 40% of its total area with equipped green areas hosting local native species, deeply integrated with the surrounding environment and landscape.

The certification process focused especially on aspects related to the sustainable management and quality of the complex's common areas, enhancing performance in terms of operational efficiency, quality of shared spaces and attention to the natural environment.
