RYZE acted as Technical Advisor to Ardian in carrying out Technical and Environmental Due Diligence activities relating to a portfolio of self-storage centres in North-Central Italy.

As part of the transaction, Ardian - a global leader in private market investments, - announced the signing of an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Casaforte S.p.A., a leader in the Italian self-storage market. This is a significant step in Ardian's strategy to build a large-scale pan-European self-storage platform. Since 2023, the company has already invested €300 million in the sector, acquiring two platforms in France, and plans to invest at least another €200 million in the coming years, with a primary focus on Spain and Germany.

Casaforte, considered the pioneer of temporary storage in Italy, operates 24 centres across the country with a total area of approximately 80,000 square metres. The portfolio is mainly located in Northern Italy, with a strong presence in key metropolitan areas such as Milan, Turin, Genoa, Bologna and Rome.
