RYZE completes the redevelopment of the former NATO Pavilion in the EUR district in partnership with Kervis SGR
The redevelopment of the former NATO Pavilion at Viale della Civiltà del Lavoro 38 in Rome, owned by the GO Italia V fund managed by Kervis SGR, has been completed.
The building, situated in the EUR district – the capital’s main business district – has been transformed into a modern urban campus of approximately 22,000 square metres, comprising two buildings connected by a 2,000-square-metre green space. The complex is ready to house Microsoft’s new Rome headquarters.
In this context, RYZE played a key role as Project & Construction Manager, supporting Kervis SGR throughout all stages of development and making a decisive contribution to achieving the project’s quality and sustainability objectives.
The building has in fact achieved LEED v4 BD+C: Core & Shell certification at the Platinum level, the highest international recognition in the field of environmental sustainability. This result attests to the high performance achieved in terms of energy efficiency, the quality of the interior environments and the reduction of the building’s overall environmental impact.
A milestone made possible by integrated collaboration between the property owner, project management, designers and the contractor: in this context, RYZE supported Kervis SGR, coordinating the activities necessary to meet the required standards and liaising with the various stakeholders involved.
To complete its remit, RYZE also managed the fit-out of the main communal areas, overseeing the creation of the reception and the food & beverage area for the Caffetteria Palombini, and contributing to the design of functional, representative spaces that are consistent with the positioning of the entire complex. The result is an urban regeneration project that combines high environmental standards, architectural quality and a focus on the user experience.
