AEGIS Cantarelli + Partners, a RYZE Group company, has supported Consorzio Integra as an engineering firm within the design team for the construction of two new university buildings on the Bassini Campus of the Politecnico di Milano.
In collaboration with Mate Engineering, AEGIS Cantarelli + Partners was responsible for the architectural design of the DEIB building, as well as fire safety design and safety coordination during the design and construction phases for both the DEIB and DCMIC buildings.
The two assets cover a total building area of approximately 24,000 square meters and over 4,000 square meters of green space, and are connected by a glass tunnel on the first floor. The university's new spaces are dedicated to research and technological innovation and house over 4,600 square meters of laboratories for the Giulio Natta Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano and the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at the Politecnico di Milano.
