Milan, 9 April 2025 – The YARD REAAS Group, leader in Italy in real estate consultancy and integrated management of real estate services, announces the completion of the acquisition of a majority stake in the share capital of AEGIS S.r.l. CANTARELLI & PARTNERS (hereinafter “AEGIS”).

AEGIS is an engineering and architecture firm founded in 2009, operating in the building and infrastructure sectors, and recognised for its expertise in technical consultancy and management of large-scale and complex projects. Notable projects include the development of the “Tre Torri” office complex in Brescia, the final design and coordination for the construction of the new Turin-Lyon railway line, as well as the final design and coordination of the integrated project for some of the most iconic pavilions at EXPO 2015 in Milan.

Thanks to the specialized skills of its team and the use of advanced, high-value-added technologies aimed at optimising the lifecycle of assets, the company is able to manage the entire project process through integrated management across various areas:

  • Engineering: ensuring design that complies with regulations and major national and international standards, combining quality, sustainability, and respect for the territory;
  • Architecture: providing comprehensive support from feasibility studies to the executive and construction design for new building, restoration, and refurbishment projects;
  • Urban planning: addressing themes of urban transformation and regeneration for the redevelopment of public spaces or the restoration of historic buildings, with a focus on sustainable development of buildings;
  • Plant engineering: also approaching design and energy redevelopment projects for new or existing buildings.

With this operation, YARD REAAS – which in 2024 with the support of the pan-European fund AnaCap embarked on a challenging path of expansion and internationalisation, completing the acquisitions of Tecnit@lia e Avalon – further expands its service platform, with the aim of establishing itself as a key player also in the Engineering sector, strengthening its ability to operate as a technical and strategic partner throughout the entire real estate supply chain, with an even stronger presence in complex projects, major works, and infrastructure projects.

This acquisition allows us to further expand our range of engineering services, internalising relevant know-how for our investor and developer Clients, and to enter the Infrastructure sector. With the integration of AEGIS, the Group now has over 400 internal resources, 600 technicians in the field, and over 1,000 certified valuers, with a turnover of 70 million Euro,” comments Emanuele Bellani, CEO of the YARD REAAS Group, who adds: “The integration of advanced technical expertise within the Group will enable us to tackle increasingly complex and innovative projects, increasing our potential to offer integrated and cutting-edge solutions.

Alberto Sainaghi, Managing Director of AnaCap, commented: “We are very pleased with the path we are building alongside the partners and managers of YARD REAAS, Emanuele Bellani, Paolo Datti and Paolo Perrella. This acquisition confirms our willingness to continue investing in excellent companies: our strong propensity for innovation, which has always been part of AnaCap’s DNA, has led us to identify AEGIS, a company with a significant number of relevant national and international projects, as the ideal candidate to add another piece to our strategy in this direction, thanks to its expertise in advanced technologies and BIM.”

“AEGIS is the company we have chosen to complete our leadership in real estate services with a vertical integration,” adds the Deputy Chairman - Head of M&A of YARD REAAS, Paolo Datti.We are convinced that this synergy will allow us to face new challenges and accelerate our growth. The investment in human capital and the complementarity of skills, intended as value multipliers, will significantly contribute to our long-term development goal.”

“We are thrilled to join YARD REAAS, a solid, structured Group with complementary skills to ours, with whom we share a vision of quality and innovation. For an engineering and architecture company like ours, born with the imprint of a family business, this entry into a rapidly expanding reality represents a historic milestone in our company's evolution. Thanks to this opportunity, AEGIS will be able to benefit from the strong acceleration underway, as well as new resources and synergies, further expanding its ability to offer integrated and high-quality solutions,” states Nicola Cantarelli, CEO of AEGIS.

YARD REAAS was assisted by TARGET's M&A team composed of Fabio Coppola and Taila Centrella for legal aspects and by BDO Advisory Services S.r.l. with a team composed of Chiara Bascialla and Francesco D'Amico for the Financial Due Diligence.
