Ivano Ilardo, Senior Advisor - Business Development of the YARD REAAS Group, will participate as a speaker at the XXV Edition of the RE ITALY CONVENTION DAY 2025, entitled ‘2025: the year of hotels, student residences and data centres’.
The conference, organised by Monitorimmobiliare, will be an important moment of confrontation between the main players in the Italian real estate sector, with the aim of analysing the state of the art of the sector and outlining its development prospects.
As part of the panel dedicated to the theme ‘It's Data Centre time. Opportunities, regulations and perspectives for Italy', Ivano, who will explore a crucial topic for the future of the real estate market, considering the growing demand for digital infrastructure and the new regulatory and investment requirements, commented: ’Data centres are much more than a real estate asset, they are strategic technological infrastructures for the entire system. Today, Italy has the opportunity to become a European digital hub, but we need an integrated approach between real estate, infrastructure, technical and plant-engineering aspects to be able to understand the logic of their functioning and help investors and public and private stakeholders to grasp this challenge fully.’
