Laura Piantanida, Head of Institutional Relations of the YARD REAAS Group, took part as a speaker in the webinar “Presentazione del Rapporto immobiliare 2025. Immobili a destinazione terziaria, commerciale e produttiva” ("Presentation of the 2025 Real Estate Report: tertiary, commercial and industrial properties"), organised by Assilea on June 19, 2025.
Within the panel “Immobili per le imprese: come cambia il mercato, sfide e opportunità per il 2025” ("Corporate Real Estate: how the market is changing, challenges and opportunities for 2025"), Laura highlighted: "The relationship between an asset's prospective value and ESG criteria was one of the key topics addressed in the round table dedicated to the main trends in the real estate sector. It's a highly debated issue, not only within the leasing segment. Considering the medium to long-term horizon of a real estate investment, it is essential to reflect on at least two aspects: on the one hand, to what extent a lack of — or partial — alignment with these criteria could impact the future value of properties, for example in terms of a so-called ‘brown discount’; and on the other hand, how to integrate the estimation of capex for future ESG-related upgrades into risk assessments and related investment strategies".
