The new tower, which is spread over 26 floors on a total surface of approx. 36,000 sqm was designed with sustainability in mind (extensive photovoltaic panels, use of groundwater, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, compliance with Nearly Zero Energy Consumption Building standards). The original building, a former INPS headquarters built in the 1960s and abandoned in 2012, underwent a major remediation operation with the removal of approx. 200 tons of asbestos.
The RYZE Group assisted Coima SGR as technical advisor in the monitoring, during the execution phase, of the remediation, strip-out and demolition activities.
